Artist Research- DigiPak and Magazine Cover

During the Research and Planning section of the course, I conducted some research into Florence and the Machine's previous album artwork. I believe that this research will also be relevant to the Digipak research as the following powerpoint highlights the messages that exist within her album artwork and elements and themes that are conventionally used within them. Therefore, I will repost this presentation in order to be taken into a Digipak research context.

• Nature theme- flowers. This is definitely an element that I will include in my own product.

• Includes album release date and website, not information that I previously considered including

• Most text and significant information is featured at the bottom (i.e. formats album is available in, record label) as not to obstruct the centre image.

• Links strongly with the album imagery, clearly displays the artists identity.
